I can handle staying up late just fine, but my parents will be pissed if  I stay up for that long just to play tf2
they don't give a stuff about weekends though

If there are good prizes, i.e. free computer bits/games/money for winning, tell them that.  They should take that into account.

seriously, wg, it's because if it starts at 9:30, it'll go to 'til god knows when, and some kids just don't have that sleep schedule.
