I don't understand why people want the tux other than item collectors (snot).
It's an ugly item (imo) with low demand and high supply. I'd predict it will be cheap and not worth the time that people are using to get it. No offense to the people that did, I just don't think it's worth it.

Woah woah hey, I'm an item collector too. Since I have three accounts I can get tux from, that makes the effort more worth it. On top of all of that too, if it's worthless it doesn't matter, but if it ends up being so then we're good. I've seen legit 2 key offers on tuxes, even though anyone can still get them for free

if I'm installing Ubuntu on it, how many mb of ram should I let it use? (trying to get a tux)

You have 8GB?  Let it use 2GB cause why not.  Or 1GB.  512MB seems like a choke.
