Tell us how you managed such an impressive accomplishment.

I dedicated myself to keeping a normal Sentry up on the ramp on our side of the center tower (which was not the easiest task considering how many Soldiers there normally are on that map and what a vulnerable spot that is, fortunately we had relative control of the map so it's not like the entire team was bearing down on me) because he kept putting Minis down in the area outside our spawn to catch people when they came out. He'd run up the stairs, place the Mini near the tracks, run down to grab the metal from under the spawn area, and then stay there until the Sentry was destroyed. If he died he'd just come right back and start again. When the Sentry killed him a few times on his way up the stairs he realized he couldn't be a richardbag anymore and left the server. People like that make me want to delete every Gunslinger I own.

I don't hate the gunslinger itself, I just hate there's not really a way to effectively counter it without leaving yourself open. It's the sentry or the Engie, if you kill both, you're still taking a good amount of damage, and it's not 1 v 1 so chances are you're going to be attacked by someone else at the same time.

gunslinger is fair imo
just not on hightower

sorry my minisentry/wrangler/pomson/seal mask combo shot it down

What kind of place would you put the minisentry?

On the capture point :cookieMonster:

I'm pretty sure that a normal sentry would get more kills than a bunch of minis if placed right. The mini is just for those impatient people, or offensive engies

If you're going defensive engie with a mini sentry you will fail.

A mini sentry is good for either offensive Engineers, like, as distraction or to help you shotgun/pistol down enemies or temporary area denial, possibly for strategic purposes

Wait, does strategizing even happen in this game?

No. People [in pubs mostly] are usually too arrogant and just try to kill other people as fast as possible.

Well to be fair a solo strategy doesn't work too well in a team based game. It turns into just a play style actually, I wouldn't really even call it a strategy. I mean your strategy could be to sap people's sentries and stuff, great, but it's not really a strategy unless someone actually acts on what you did.

Most pubs can't come together and work in unison, let alone stand one another lol.

Are there pubs with people cooperating?
