you missed the fact that there's a chance to unbox a pile of crates when you unbox a robocrate (alongside your other loot of course...)
when used it gives a crate to everyone in the server. i wonder if that includes salvaged crates.

It's looking like RoboCrates and their Keys will be a very long, if not permanent addition to the game, considering there are no time restrictions on them and RoboCrates will be "rare drops after June 3rd"

Also I can't wait to buy a bunch of #TF_TOOL_ROBOKEY2013s!! That black-and-purple square looks so alluring!
