(Double post for bump)
Should I buy a TOD Ticket? I've heard of a lack of Mann Up mode servers and I really want to try one because MVM has been out for almost a year.

if you're in it because of the weapons for playing it you have you play at least 5 games to get a weapon and yea

its not really different from just playing on community

btw if i had 6 keys and my whole backpack ( http://backpack.tf/profiles/76561197968429535 ) how would i trade my way to infinity

I was just playing on this server, "Half-Bit's House of Fatalities" on ctf_2fort_classic. So I'm a soldier, and I know how to surf over water so my little rollout thing is to rocket jump out, skim over the water, rocket jump out of the water, and jump onto the enemy battlements. I was doing this with a rocket launcher to spite this one guy (douchebag name: [+|TerZ]<<HLSebλx>>™) with white bill's and a machina who would taunt after every kill. Classic scum.

I was jumping up and trying to kill only him, and after some kills he complained in chat. He was tired of me spawncamping him. So I felt bad, and switched to rocket jumper, doing the same rollout and jumping up in his face only to hit k or j on my keyboard, bound to "kill" and "explode" respectively. An engineer had a sentry next to him, so I usually could pull it off right before I got within the sentry's range. I got banned for spawncamping.

I guess that was from before the RL -> RJ switch, and I thought that was unfair because one sniper could go on the battlements, literally right next to his spawn and have a clear sight of everyone who would attempt to cap the intel. The bridge didn't have any cover and was pretty long. After I came up with this revelation I realized that the map was built like stuff and wasn't any more annoyed that I was banned.

Also, when I jumped up with the rocket launcher, I wouldn't go full tryhard and hunt him as he backpedaled into the spawn, it was just me jumping up, seeing if he noticed me, staying like this for some time and if he didn't, I would shoot 2 rockets to kill, jump off and head back to spawn or kill myself. If he had noticed, he would try to jarate+buswhacka while I attempted to jump away or kill him as I fled.

After I came up with this revelation I realized that the map was built like stuff and wasn't any more annoyed that I was banned.
The map was a direct port over tfc, a completely different game.

Yeah, so it's built like stuff for TF2's classes and balance. Direct ports from other multiplayer games usually don't work out.

Nice short essay about ported maps

I just bought a botkiller on the market for cheaper than a TOD ticket.
Saved money and time c:

there, I bolded how much I mentioned about map design. 2 1/2 sentences.

Okay, nice short essay about your TF2 experiences

there's a reason why there's a new 2fort. besides, any way you try to play that map, it's a stufffest.

2fort and doublecross are the best maps
