from what I heard, the sensible people who actually gave reasons to complain said that the main problem was it made it  so dealing with sentry nests with the sticky launcher was super difficult with that nerf,  which is one of the main things the sticky launcher is used for.

The damage ramp-up maximized at 2 seconds: This means that if you lay down stickybombs, count to 2, and detonate them, you will reach full damage

2 seconds is a laughably short amount of extra time to have to wait before detonation, and with the nature of the Stickybomb Launcher you don't even have to be in harm's way while doing so

Unless these people were trying to blow up a Sentry nest by shooting and immediately detonating one stickybomb at a time (which is exactly what this change was meant to discourage) I cannot possibly see how it would make things more difficult



At least there are some decent Brimstone combos when Halloween items are enabled

The nerf was justified. Sticky bombs should be used for traps and nest destruction, not as an stronger version of the grenade launcher.
