I don't think anyone's posted this yet.

Arena Respawn is having a small(ish) tournament anyone can join, is anyone else taking part and would anyone else be free the 24th and 25th to be subs for my team?

If you want to know what Arena Respawn is I'll explain:

Arena Respawn is an 5v5 Arena gamemode with a catch, the control point opens up soon after the round starts.

Mechanics:

Upon capture anyone who is dead on the team who took the point respawns. The point gives the mark of death to those who control it and decide to stand on it to prevent camping the point. There are no weapons banned except the Vaccinator which counteracts the mini-crit debuff for the point as well as making one game mechanic work in it's favor which I will explain next. Although the matches are 5v5, each team gets to decide a class ban before a map starts, each team can ban whatever class they want, these bans are applied to both teams (ie. One team bans Medic, the other bans Scout, both teams can use neither for the entirety of the map). Classes are restricted to one each and with class bans and this being a new gamemode there is no 'meta' yet.

Goal:

Your goal is to kill the entire opposing team, which gets tricky because one person can potentially revive their entire team.

So with that said, anyone interested in being a backup? Or even perhaps you may want to make a team to compete!

that actually sounds pretty neat
