As someone who played exclusively with bots for my first year or two, I can confirm that this is accurate.
I'm surprised though that they didn't cover that the engineers upgrade their sentries and dispensers to lvl 3, but leave the teleporters at lvl 1.

Pretty much this, though I discovered one day though that I was playing Passtime with Jerma and I never even noticed until I saw my name in one of his videos for 3 seconds.

I think they do it so chat doesn't explode and they get a fair match or something, I remember one time on one of star's earlier videos someone found him out and chat exploded into an unreadable mess.
