Author Topic: We need more pirate games. Where are pirate games.  (Read 2532 times)

Sid Meyer made a game like this.
Yes, aptly named Pirates.
I've lost so many hours to that game, it's just so much loving fun.

I for one am going to wait for the ship combat in ACIII. That'll be enough of a pirate game for me.

DKC2. Oh god nostalgia.

Wish that people didn't abandon every project on the forums.

how the hell can this be considered a pirate game except for the fact you're fighting pirates and you sometimes are on their ships?

Rayman 2

There are Robot Pirates

a pirate game =/= a game that isn't even 100% about pirates but pirates appear in it

What about that real popular pirate MMO is it this one? http://www.burningsea.com/page/home or is it this one http://uwo.netmarble.com/

What is PotBS like? Would I be wasting my time with it, is it pay-to-win, will I have any chance at all at getting anywhere without my ship getting sunk by a god-player every time I go sailing?

It's pretty boring.

It also has a long install time which isn't worth it.

Risen 2: Dark Waters is a pretty good game in my opinion, it's like Fabel but focused on pirates.

We should make a kickstarter for a billion dollars to make a pirate game and then well make the pirate game with the billion dollars

Monkey Island, because it has Guybrush Threepwood.
