Welcome back to Prison Escape V3.

Rules are limited to change at any time and enforced at any time given by the administration team.  Follow them and we shouldn't have any issues.

Rules that are mainly applicable to guards:

1) No Killing prisoners until you ask them to put the gun away or leave the area.

2) No Killing unless they do not listen to you (give them a 10 second warning before shooting) or are blocking a zone.

3) No killing unless they attack you or have a record of killing other guards in the current round.  Once mini-game resets records of past killings reset.

4) No killing if you are in the vent system with a prisoner.

5) No camping areas for extended periods of time; exceptions for the newly built watch tower though are in place.

6) If a prisoner drops a weapon in front of a guard they are allowed to leave without being shot as they surrendered that weapon.

7) Bans/kicks will result from the periods of rule breaking.

8) Guards are allowed to kill prisoners outside of prison in parking lot and delivery bay areas immediately if prisoner is shooting or holding a weapon.

Rules are diffuse. It is hard to know what is right and not when you're in the server with 20 people and chaos.

Let me help you. Make zones that give invincibility in all of the places where prisoners are allowed to be. Make it so picking up an item fires a raycast in all directions, and if a police officer is hit with that raycast then you are able to be killed. Make it so killing a police officer does not put a message in chat. Make it so killing a police officer will fire a raycast in all directions, and if a police officer is hit with that raycast then you are able to be killed. Then you have a perfect Jail Escape.

EDIT: Taking out a weapon would also fire this raycast.

If you wanted to reduce the lag of so many raycasts and also make sure that the police officer was facing the right direction, you would make it so police officers would fire the detection raycasts instead. Basically, if they hit a prisoner with these raycasts who did anything illegal in the past 2 seconds (so that officers with slow reactions would be able to catch a prisoner they saw) then the prisoner becomes able to be killed. You would need a nice keybind for these raycasts.

This is quite the bunch of ideas, I think they would probably work but someone would have to work at it. The simplest would be to make it so when cops are killed it doesn't show up in chat, that would probably work quite well.

instead of raycast do containerboxsearch or loop through clients that have players spawned and look at him
