Author Topic: Pissed off, legit reason to be or just overreacting?  (Read 2044 times)

You're over-reacting a bit, but her boyfriend is a richard. This isn't her fault, but the guy's. You shouldn't be blaming her.

I currently done texting her for the night. I will text her tomorrow about it or wait until Wednesday when I will most likely see her at work.

No, you will wait three days. This applies everywhere. Wait three days then text her about it.

Try to win her heart.

You're overreacting. Did you consider inviting him along too, just to see if it'd slip past? Might make him more amenable.

might want to cool down in a shower or punch a pillow repeatedly.
This is a very good idea.

This is why I love these forums. You guys can somehow calm me down and actually give me very good advice.

After reading all of your replies as well as talking to one of my best friends, I realize I shouldn't have reacted as explosively as I did. Tomorrow, or maybe in a few days like Awdax suggested, I plan on texting her saying sorry for the fight, but letting her know I only reacted that way because I'm not liking how her boyfriend is treating her. As well as talking out exactly what upset me without yelling.

I've read that punching things when you're mad makes it into a habit. So what do you do if you get mad and have nothing inanimate to punch?

Punch yourself, of course!

Or punch said punch until the punch goes all punchy and then punch everything until it becomes punchy and repeat until the entire world is punch.

...then punch said world of punch until it goes all punchy and make it punch itself.

Me: That is absolutely ridiculous, I thought we were friends
From there on it looks like you really did overreact.

She said her boyfriend doesn't want her to go atving with you, so she doesn't but she also said that her boyfriend doesn't want you two to even be friends, but she still claims she's your friend...:/ forget her just to atving with me Jon<3 I say tomorrow just talk to her again say hey I was wondering, u said u wanted to go atving and I really wanna forget take you, so do you hunk I could talk to your boyfriend and ask him myself if it's ok? And if she says no then say fine I didn't want to anyways11!1!1!1onetwo!!1!1!! and slap her across the face

But honestly, I've lost a lot of really good friends over stupid tiny little things and I miss so much; if your guys's friendship is as strong as you claim it to Ben the. You two won't let something like this get in the way. Hope things turn out for the best<3

To be honest, you overreacted. The boyfriend is possessive, but just because she can't ride ATVs doesn't mean you have to blow up the friendship.

lmao dest are you serious man?

her boyfriend doesn't want his girlfriend and another guy alone in the woods together.  is that really so shocking?

and she's not breaking your friendship or anything, she just can't hang out with you if it's just the two of you.

Also don't worry man there are other fish in the sea. The only thing you can do is hope she lives her controlling boyfriend.

i think destroyer was overreacting a bit but her boyfriend is a douche, but what if she, like, is afraid of him?
