What? Multiplayer is amazing in M&B!
I joined, got sliced open by a mounted lancer, got yelled at, and left.

I played WoW, got one-hitted by a high level character in PvP, ragequit, never went back.

Doesn't mean it's bad game.

I currently have and play the closed beta, but I am under NDA and cannot disclose anything about it. :<
Then I guess that totalbiscuit's videos are only allowed because they were filmed at paradox events?

GOOD GOD
the graphics are outstanding

Its one of those games where the devs couldn't just name it Mount & Blade and just randomly slapped three words together and invented a meaning for it afterwards.

The game looks very nice thou.

Nope. The two factions fighting both have a rose as their emblem, also this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wars_of_the_Roses

Unfortunately the one thing that disappoints me about this game is apparently there won't be any mod support. Custom maps would be nice, but it's understandable why there can't be.

Hot DAMN war of the roses is fun. The animations are a little sluggy and melee combat feels slightly more awkward than M&B but geeze that's fun.

I think there hoping for a real pro scene. There aren't enough sword and bow games with professional competitions.

Well i hope the name appeals to more audiences than just Mount & Blade fans. When i saw the pre-release advert on steam i just started laughing.

that just means that it'll attract less people who aren't knowledgeable enough regarding history.

this is in no way a sequel or successor to mount and blade

No mod support? Where did you get that? That is a terrible idea.
