Am I the only one who thinks the art looks really bad? I don't mind "old school" style for a small flash game, but I'd get tired of that pretty quickly.

The background in the wheat field is pretty bland, too. Oh well, gameplay matters more than how it looks. Hopefully it has good gameplay.

To be honest, I kind of wish so many indie games weren't being made in that pixel art form. It's just a little too overdone, I would like to see more innovation.

I somewhat agree, a lot of indie games nowadays are "retro". I like it when it's still got a pixelated form but puts more detail into it, or makes it more than just some 2D sidescroller of sorts.
