Author Topic: [BLW] LEGO 10219 "Maersk Train"  (Read 2542 times)

Please note that this thread is a promotion for BLW.

This engine is a Blockland replica of LEGO's 10219 Maersk Train, which was released everywhere in the world except South Korea on April Fools' Day 2011. Unlike LEGO's earlier Super Chief, this locomotive was apparently designed for freight service.

The front of the locomotive, with the Super Chief in the background.

The side of the locomotive, showing the Maersk branding.

The back of the locomotive. Nothing too exciting here.

The engine which powers the locomotive.

The engineer's chair. The leftmost slider controls the headlights; the rightmost, the brakelights. The red key switch controls engine ignition. The controls are hard to see, but when this is reconstructed it'll be remedied.

Picture comes complete with Renderman.  :cookieMonster:

2012.8.24 - This locomotive is now decommissioned, and this thread is now only here for archival purposes.

Why did North Korea get this and not South Korea?
South Korea is better, North Korea is a total starfish.
