Oh god do I need to adjust the palette again
It's fine I guess but you can.

What do you want to do with them, give them a tour, travel?

Make Aaran go research some cool new weapon or something like that, ask if they have materials he can use.

Kick them off the ship I was working for the Starcult the whole time
Go like show them where they sleep and stuff so I can do girl stuff
(But shhh they don't know I'm female because voice alterations and stuff)

Can I watch?

Can I watch?
 :cookieMonster:

I need to pick up shoes, buy a new suit, repair my armor, contact my mom to tell her how I'm doing, buy some jewelry, watch my Asian dramas...

I know stuff will hit the fan soon.

Aaron: Alex, do you suppose have a research center where I can experiment? I'm a Mechanic.

Alex: An interesting position, but unforunately, we do not. We usually go to the Sector Matrix located not far from here for new parts and models that we have requested. Infact, I have requested blueprints and materials for a Grenade-Zenith Module. It's supposed to be constructed to upgrade our control system sensory ranges but.. it can also be made into a pack of nifty bombs. If you really want to, I can lend you the blueprints.

What do you say, Aaron?

I changed it. But why don't you like it? I don't understand.
Just personal preference. I don't like the style.

Your character style doesn't look too great either.

Alex: Alright, we'll quickly fly to the Matrix Sector to get the blueprints and back.

10 minutes later

Alex: Here's the blueprint, please use it wisely.

Do you want to take a shot at crafting the grenade? By completing this blueprint, you will craft 10 of these.

Attention everybody, the way special abilities work has changed. Everyone starts out with 20 skill points. You can use these in battles, or with items. You can select how much skill points you would like to expend to increase your chance of completing the skill successfully. I will roll a dice and if your number matches, then yeah. If it doesn't then it fails, the item will either become uncraftable or you can try again, but the amount of skill points you used will be subtracted so you have less skill points. Sleeping restores your skill points.

So how much skill points do you want to use, you have 20 skill points.

Skill points is confusing, it seems like it'd be used for a skill tree. Personally I think "Action points" would fit better.
I dunno maybe I'm just dumb
Also I don't think it should be number matching, I think it should be that number or lower, with a D20. That way if you spend all you skill points you instantly get it, but if you don't, you have a 95% or lower chance only.

Yeah thats what I was going for, sorry for inexplanation.

So if he spent 10 skill points to get this, I would roll a D20, and if the number is 10 or lower, then it gets successful. Any number higher is failing.

Try to craft it.
I'll use 15 skill points.
I don't wanna somehow blow the grenades in my face.

Whew, that was almost close to failing, but you managed it

You craft 10

Ok, so these bombs are called Expanse-Region Bombers. Use them wisely. Throw one at stone, it blasts a big hole. Throw one at dirt, it makes a giant crater. Any other materials that you throw it at won't make a very big impact.

Oh and uh, I don't think only sleeping should regain AP. Like, maybe 5 AP regained per post so that way we don't have to deal with running out of AP mid-combat and NEVER BEING ABLE TO USE OUR SKILLS AGAIN. Also the more powerful a skill is, the higher the dice, with some being impossible to actually ensure the usage of (IE: Gauss bombardment, that seems like being able to instantly use that is OP, but I dunno, maybe because I have to reload and stuff afterwards, meaning I can't fire for the next turn I guess it balances out???) But a skill like Marksman or Vehicle Down should probably be a D10 move, rather than D20. This is because they aren't insanely powerful, plus what's stopping me from spamming Gauss Bombardment if it has the same chances of hitting as Marksman or Vehicle Down.
IMO Bloody Mess and Gauss Bombardment should be D20 moves, and Marksman and Vehicle Down should be D10. V and Boring Shooting should both be D4 or D6 moves, or just not cost AP at all.
