Author Topic: Suggestion: Ability to edit drama.  (Read 798 times)

I noticed recently that the inability to edit drama is pretty much pointless. I think it would save a lot of time for people to be able to edit their dramas. Even if we can't lock them, I think editing it should be allowed. Anyone else agree with this?

Not at all. Too easy to completely edit out a stupid point.

It's tremendously annoying when someones like

"well you're all cigarettes, btw i won" and then they lock the thread. This would be rampant in drama.

No, he's pointing out a flaw.
If you want to edit in drama, then each time you edit, it should save/archive the original/previous versions of said post.

I'm pretty sure he is saying that
"well you're all cigarettes, btw i won"
would be a dismissive post and that person would be banned anyways, not Dezcaban's post.

I think you guys misunderstood him.

It's only a matter of time before some idiot blames me on this.

it's kelpforest's fault

While it would be nice to fix typos and update the OP with relevant information, we end up with those rare, really entertaining threads getting forgeted up in the archives when the douche involved becomes slightly less douchey down the line and edits all his posts to say -nvm-.

Also, why can't you edit in Help?

Because people would have their question answered and then edit out the question, increasing the need for questions to be aksed a whole bunch of times.

Maybe the ability to edit the OP could be added but I don't think the ability to edit posts.

Idk. That seems farfetched.
