Author Topic: Hosting service - Terminated!  (Read 38129 times)

I have no strong feelings one way or the other
But you kinda deserved it because:
A) How pacnet acted towards Scratch
B) You violated your ISP's ToS.

I doubt Lub would do it. Sure, he has motive but he would put you guys out of business anyway when his comes out.

reporting for the banter hahaha

Oh, wow. Nice move, Lub.
(sarcasm incase you can't tell)

I probably would have used Lub's service for a server when it opened, however, after this, I'm boycotting it.

I'm sure he'll be devastated to hear that. The only person losing out there would be you. Not sure he's going to have any trouble getting enough people to use his service.

Not sure how it's Lub's fault that the service got shut down either - would you prefer nobody told the ISP and everyone just hoped nobody would find out they were reselling their service? Idiots.

No, it's that I actually have no idea if the extra $16 is permanent, it's a long time before I will get to figure that out without asking (June 2013)

Ah, I see. I would assume it's not permanent, it wouldn't make sense, but if for some weird reason it is then you'll be having a talk with them I'm sure. Honestly, if it were me that was running this service, I would find out ASAP just to make sure.

I wish i could sig this

I wish i could sig this
You can, sir.

Realistically this is not Lub's fault in any way. Pacnet and Hammereditor both forgeted up as they was hosting services under their own broadband which the T&Cs disallowed. I couldn't say this wasn't going to happen...

Pacnet forgeted up big time? Yes.

I agree with this.

Oh god lol that is loving hilarious.

Nothing here to drama about.

Well, I feel a little mad about it. But I really didn't use my servers, besides Lamebro using them. Which he'll probably purchase Kalphs, I may invest in Kalph too.
