BLFC: That faction full of Blocklanders.
I was visiting tango's factions server when i remember how I thought it would be cool for us to get a big team of blocklanders and go make a faction on a public factions server. In the past I have tried this, and it worked well to some degree. The main problem was that the people who joined really were just visiting, so i ended up playing alone with a large base. The last time I suggested this it got shot down because blocklanders don't work well with each other. I thought this over and realized that, though we don't work well when we lump ourselves together, we work better with friends.
If we had a blockland faction on a public server with 20 players, we could divide those 20 players into squads, each squad would have a leader. These squads would basically do their own thing unless a faction was a direct threat, attacked our homeland, or attacked one of the squadrons. This system would allow us to dominate a server because we would be more flexible, more organized, and more powerful than other factions that have played for longer.
While I understand the "bigger servers are spread thin" issue, with four squadrons we could easily find and destroy other factions.
While the squadrons would work separately, we would have a homeland with a citadel at the center, most likely in the sea to deter attacks. The squadrons could inhabit separate wings of the citadel, as well as have the option to modify their wings as long as it doesn't undermine the safety of the citadel. If the citadel were to be directly assaulted by an enemy that actually poses a threat, all available members would be called to defend the citadel from the attackers.
If we can actually get organized like a team and gather friends, we could literally destroy factions servers, we could make ourselves infamous.
We finally hit our goal of 20 people, so now it's time to create a new thread so we don't keep spamming the Minecraft megathread, and so we can have more organization in our discussion.
Current News:8/28 - Major increase on Citadel production

Citadel/base:Currently the Citadel is under construction. The docking area is small but being reconstructed. The tower to the platform is finished for now, but may undergo future redesign for aesthetics or effeciency. The platform itself only has the floor finished, as the coordinator did not specify any plans for it.
