do any of you think that the DMR is slightly overpowered?

think about it:

• high rate of fire
• highest accuracy of any primary
• strong shots (only thing stronger is the lightrifle zoomed in)
• very healthy ammo capacity
• healthy clip to kill ratio (again, only bested by the lightrifle zoomed in)

the other guns simply don't excel at some of this

Something tells me that Cortana will come back next game. They ditched her in Halo 2 and brought her back in Halo 3, I highly doubt she's gone for good this time either.

personally I doubt she'll come back, and instead you'll just be accompanied with another AI

@mrmccakey it doesnt really need too much of a nerf, the maps make it way worse than it needs to be, dont get me wrong it wrecks in close quarters and i think thats mostly due to aim assist+rof, but its not very op. however the carbine is up, it needs to be buffed to a 6 or 7 hit kill, 8 is too much. personally i think they should give it a bit more range and a 7 hit kill.

yea, being someone who used to use the weapon a lot, I can confirm that it's not the sharpest tool in the shed and should be made a 7 hit kill

also about the range thing, do the weapons in halo 4 get weaker the longer range they shoot at? I haven't really looked into that

nope. i just said the range thing because imo the carbine being an 8 hit kill AND having such a short range really hurts it. its my favorite starter and its sad to see it be so bad :(

i really like halo 4 but i hate how if you want to do anything at all you need gold and i don't do online playing very often so it's a waste of money
