Is anyone here homeschooled?

So im moving to Tucson next month, and this has been on my mind for the past few weeks.
Earlier this month, my parents and I went down to Tucson to look for houses n' stuff, when I noticed that all the schools that would be near us are quite... stuffty. For some reason this is really bugging me, even though ive been to stuffty schools in the past, but the fact that im now a sophomore in high school turns me off from a stuffty school.

Because of this, I am considering homeschooling. Doing homeschooling would really help me out academically as I could work at my own pace, get a job, and potentially complete high school early.

Buuutttt heres my problem with homeschooling - I would be by myself, meaning, no friends or girlfriends.
I know school is a lot more important at this age, more important than relationships, but the fact that I would be without any friends for the next 3 years seems... off to me.

I asked my parents about this, they are fine with whatever decision I make, but I feel like you guys would be able to help me a bit more.

So am I over thinking this?

Do you by chance mean cyber school? When you're 16, get a job, and you'll meet a ton of people. And have a ton of fun while doing it.

Homeschooling is awesome I did independent study for a month and it was fun but I was forced to go back

I'd say you should go to one of the stuffty schools. If they really are that bad, then you'll probably be able to coast through the curriculum with ease and still get social interactions.

Like hanging with friends. Sports and such.

Dunno I would go crazy if I was homeschooled.
