The only issue I see is Badspot having to move active server topics to the server board (a.k.a all server topics that are 5 pages within front page). If this is too much, I would gladly do it for him.

I'm pretty sure badspot has better things to do right now than update the forums when he's fixing revision.
But it's a great idea for future reference.

Hiding the poll results is an option. But only for when you make the poll for the first time.
