Author Topic: Skype is being a richard and Google ain't helping  (Read 795 times)

For some reason, Skype now has horrible latencies when calling or sending/receiving IM's, ranging from 5 seconds to over ten minutes. However, after spending a good hour or so googling and trying to find a fix, I have found nothing that works.

So, rendering google useless in my book, I have come to the place that I know suffers from the most problems out of everywhere, wondering if you have this same issue, and was able to fix it.

Captured about 3 minutes after attempting to send the messages.

You have uTorrent open.  Are you downloading anything?

If someone isn't online, it'll also show "delivering message..." circles.  So unless they're actually online and this is happening, this may be the case.

Nah, there's not a single torrent loaded or anything.

One time a message literally took three hours to send.
That is not an exaggeration at all. It literally took three hours.

Skype does this to me as well. Skype doesn't seem to care either.

Skype is broken.  Restart Skype, your computer, if all else fails it's a problem on their end or your program.
