i know exactly how you feel ; ;
we had to put my dog down on monday because he managed to get seriously ill. we didn't know if it was from a cancer in his leg that spread to the rest of his body or if he'd twisted his stomach, but he wouldn't have made it through the day regardless.

The only time I really felt sad about losing an animal was when my cat I had for 16 years couldnt move anymore and had to be put down ( he was like 20, my parents got him before I was born)
