Weird-ass things you thought when you started playing

I used to think that you could only paint the walls of the maps, back in v13.
I also used to think that bricks didnt have collision.
I also used to think that when you went to the bedroom you would be as big as the bedroom. (the tutorial was misleading.)
When I spawned in the bedroom, I was suprised at how small the player was. I thought maybe, you started out as a baby, and grew up depending on how much you built.

I was such a noob.

I thought online play did not work till I came home and saw many people on my server.
I thought you had to save bricks through mission editor, but I actually couldn't save without downloading mods.

not sure if this is the right thread, but when i first played, my tutorial didn't work.
the center print messages didn't show up, and nothing happened when you completed the task(i.e moving when it told you to made no message or anything come up)
so i didn't know how to build at ALL and i annoyed the forums because i thought you just put down the ghost brick and it'd be placed
it was really annoying for both me and the forums because everyone thought i was an idiot and i thought everyone was an idiot

I got really confused when I saw that it just filled the whole block.

Also it took me like ten minutes to complete the "make a staircase" part of the tutorial.

If you went far to the outer reaches of a map, you could find other peoples singleplayers.

I thought the Black sided mountain was a warzone.
