About to beat the forest boss for the first time on Doctorate, suddenly game stops spawning my projectiles and I have no choice other than to die after dealing with the annoying hell that is the forest

The game doesn't start after the first time. I started a new game on a new installation and went through the tutorial, quit to title, quit game, and now I get a white rectangle when I try to start the game.

I loving hate those books. They're the only thing keeping me from strolling around invincibly.

So much this. You have to CONSTANTLY use a spell with a lot of vampire tooth influence or you're gonna die within about a minute of starting the level.

Also this game is really easily modded, I was able to buff my HP and Mana to 200 via editing the code.
