I don't really see People under the influence as a huge problem.  We already have Drunks and they can be extremely dangerous.  Potheads don't do anything dangerous.

Second-Hand smoke however, supposedly smoke from marijuana is not lethal like cig smoke is, but smoke in the air is still annoying lol.  I'm assuming this also wouldn't be a real problem because the "no smoking inside" rules would apply pretty much everywhere except bars.

the fact alcohol is legal doesn't make it right to abuse it, same with tobacco.

I think it should be legalized for home use, NEVER public use. Thats the worst idea ever, allowing dudes to just walk around stoned.

Also, i think there should be an age for how old you have to be to smoke, like 18 or 21.

Oh that reminds me, my teacher told me that using marijuana blocks brain cells from communicating making it harder for people to think clearly even after they are no longer high. Don't know if its been proven but that link you provided supports this.

Personally I've never smoked marijuana because it's illegal. However there's also the people who only smoke it because it's illegal.

If marijuana was legal and government taxed it, wouldn't people  just grow it or buy from someone else? Thus not really helping the economy.

If marijuana was regulated for smoking you would have to buy the seeds, the buds would be inspected and the seeds removed. Pot with seeds would cost more I am sure. Someone somewhere is making money from the bud, and that's what matters.

I never said that it's super deadly. I said that any kind of smoke is bad for your lungs and that smoking anything in public should be illegal. And that private, personal use of any drug should be legal. Why are you having difficulty with this?
