Drinking alcohol can be incredibly worse than smoking marijuana at times.

Ok lets see the facts about alcohol and marijuana.

Both are depressants.

Both cause sleepiness, slurred speech, and staggering.

Both interfere with the persons judgement.

Both can lead to severe respiratory depression, coma and possible death.

Both lower the activity of the central nervous system which can slow reaction time and heart rate.

More people are killed yearly from alcohol than mariuana due to alcohol poisoning and from drinking and driving.

aaannnnd alcohol is legal and marijuana isn't.

That is what really shocks me.
Honestly I think alcohol would be the one illegal here, alcohol greatly affects the human body more than marijuana does due to the fact you can die from it very easily if you drink too much and more teens drink than smoke.

Correct me if I am wrong but I agree that marijuana should be legal because it not only has similar affects as alcohol which is a legal substance but it also causes far less deaths.

What is surprising is that alcohol is legal.

If you are saying that marijuana at all shouldn't be legal because it is bad for you then alcohol shouldn't be legal either.
Marijuana has less of an affect so it would make more sense for marijuana to be legal and alcohol not to be.

I would honestly like to see alcohol be illegal and marijuana to be legalized.

Smoking is already legal.

I never said that it's super deadly. I said that any kind of smoke is bad for your lungs and that smoking anything in public should be illegal. And that private, personal use of any drug should be legal. Why are you having difficulty with this?

The air you breath now is no more deadly than if it was marijuana smoke in the air. What makes you think that the pollution you breath now will be any more deadly if people smoke weed? From what I understand people already do. All smoke goes to the same place, the air. Can you tell me where else it might go?
