Author Topic: My iPod is swimming with the fishes. literally.  (Read 1714 times)

If anyone didn't already know, I have been in Portugal for a week (Now I'm back, wewt), It was nice and sunny and the food was nice.yay
So anyway, me, my dad and my sister were setting off to go to the beach. I put my iPod in my Swimming Trunks pocket (You can tell where this is going) and we set off. When we got there, we all went in the sea instantly. I was in there for about 20 minutes with my sister. We had a fun time, but we got out anyway because it was loving freezing
My dad said he was going for a walk to the far end of the beach. When he goes, I instantly think

And whip my nearly 2 year old 4th Gen iPod Touch out of my pocket. I am so pissed off with myself right now.
On the bright side, my birthday is coming up on the 16th and I have asked my family just to give me money. I might be able to but an iPhone 4S or something.

tldr; iPod + Water = Pissed off Blooker

If it's swimming with the fishies then how come it was still in your trunks

The charger runs straight into the sensitive bits, that stuff ain't insulated.

My brother did the same thing to his.

It still "works" but the screen's contrast is forgeted and the buttons don't work properly/volume is constantly going up.
