Author Topic: making the poster brick an actual POSTER brick.  (Read 985 times)

I've noticed the poster brick is basically a plane in the middle of a brick.
I think it should be close enough to the edge that it almost looks like it's part of the build.

EDIT-Short version-Make the poster brick closer to the edge to look like an actual poster.

so your asking for a poster bricks to be up next to bricks?
its the thinest thing ever why not use the 1x4x4 print brick

Poster brick is the largest standing print brick I've seen in the game, it looks nice, plus what I'm talking about allows for an imitation of  textures, kinda like the textures(blood splatter) in the hammer map editor for the source engine.

i'm going to need to find/make a pic of what i'm talking about

I know what it is, I know what it looks like, it's default.
but when you place what I'm talking about up against a wall of bricks, if you are using a texture/image, like an explosion residue, it actually looks like the explosion happened on the bricks.

i give up you can already do this

You really aren't getting what I'm saying.

I think I understand...
So the textures go all the way to the edge of the brick?
Or having the edge textures appear on print bricks too? Which would be nice.

I's are the poster brick
H's are the 2x2 brick wall it's up against.

The poster brick should be RIGHT UP AGAINST the wall, close enough to not be seen as a separate brick, but not too close to distort/overlay the texture.

I completely get it

you look at the poster on the left side of the brick, and the printable face is centered

you want an offset so its moved all the way to the edges; and fits in better with walls...one sec
