Pilots are a lot better than those ground-pounders you're talking about

are you implying that a pilot landing a chopper could never be in a situation where their chopper is too damaged to fly during a medevac and they have to run three miles to reach the nearest other functioning chopper that isn't under direct enemy fire? the only pilots that will never have to do this sort of stuff are fighter jet pilots, we're fighting kids with rpgs, not russians with highly trained fighter pilots.
