Indeed, but SNIPER: most polysPolys:3242Vertices: 3212Triangles: 3221
Your Sniper: 3,242 - Shadow's Gun: Obviously less that 1,500 - Sticky Bomb Launcher: 1,357 - Now, both of these models are actually pretty high poly (900 - 1,400) , but as you can see, Shadow's is very high quality. Yours are 2x as much as these, so why do you need that many poly's. I could make a sniper almost exactly like that for under 1000 poly's.
Ok. I just spent time on my guns, because I want them to be realistic. I know, most people don't.
Why can't blockland be realistic?First of all, we don't have arms, nor legs. Second, it's a game that's based on LEGO, therefore it already has a defined style, which is not "realistic".You want hands on weapons so they're realistic? You're contradicting yourself by speaking of realism, because we don't have arms, and our left hand doesn't stretch so far like it does on most weapons with hands and other stuff. And if you were to make all that stuff, realistic looking models, HANDS, HANDS RELOADING, they would look extremely bad, because that's not Blockland's style and you know it.Sure you can request weapons that use hands on their models, and have a different reloading style, sure you can request that. Just don't use the word "Realistic" as an excuse for your stuff.ALSO, WE'RE MADE OF PLASTIC!
Yes, I am aware. Some people, like me, like hands and reloading and stuff. This is my first topic, so I was expecting some dislikes, but yeah. I understand you don't like hands or slightly high poly guns.
Then why are you making something most people won't like anyway?
It's almost like you didn't read the above quote, or the one above that.High Poly Guns DO NOT FIT in BlocklandStretchy arms and strangely gloved hands DO NOT FIT in Blockland.Ask a member of the well respected Modeling community (Bushido, Heedicalking, Khain), I'm sure you will get the same answer.
Shadow's Gun: Obviously less that 1,500 -
one question, how teh f*ck you model like that!?!?
