you're probably slightly squinting and your eyelashes are refracting the light
and I only see floating things when I look at the sky o_O
yeah, possibly, they do get bigger when I squint.
do the floating things move around? on a different note, I've seen something like that when I look at the sky for a long period of time, and when I get hit in the head hard enough. Little silvery specks?
Don't quote me but I'm fairly sure it has to do with the density or dimensional variations in your eyes (which is also the reason you need glasses)
That could cause the light to be distorted in a predictable pattern even with correctional lenses, unless of course you got lenses to specifically correct this problem.
Again I'm not positive but that's what it sounds like.
