Author Topic: Why are people such richards to freshmans?  (Read 7256 times)

Everyone tried seniority on me as a fresham last year.

It never worked because they're all richards and or just abusing the fact they're older.

Even as a band sudo i never listened to any of the high schoolers and always claimed the back seat of the band bus.

Seriously, just because we're younger??
It's a human nature thing. It happens in school, the military and other places. I'm a freshman and haven't even got like on tiny bit of stuff mainly because I don't walk or do other stuff slow as forget and I walk on the right side all the time. Another reason is cuz I'm pretty tall so people mistake me for a sophomore

I don't wanna know

Litterally just like jello pudding lol. We walk by and just throw it on them

People are idiots.

Seniority is a status thing in human nature. I think it's because  being older means being better at survival if we were in the wild. IMO freshman don't respect upperclassmen's stuff, we had a group of freshman girls trash our lunch table and leave, we had to clean all that stuff up or detention.

It all doesn't matter. I'm a senior right now but I'll just end up as a freshman again in college. The whole thing probably revolves around the fact that freshman have more freedom and are younger with less responsibility. Older students see that and get angry.

seniors are just over-reactive hormone sacks that don't like you looking at them, so they beat you because you're younger and state illogical reasons as to why it's justified on internet forums.

no but seriously, a senior actually came up to me today and said hi, and we had a conversation and whatnot.

Another reason is cuz I'm pretty tall so people mistake me for a sophomore
i'm 5'7-8" so i think i'm passing off like this as well.

It's interesting being in high school isn't it? Everybody mistakes me for a junior/senior and I mistake them for sophomores.

Freshman are rather short. :P

rip op, he probably died today during freshman friday

the freshman at least at my school come out of middle school with the ego of being on the top and then think they're still really high up in the totem pole and do a bunch of stuff that pisses me off
and i fully respect that i did some of that stuff when i was a freshman too. it's just a "putting you in your place" sorta thing.

i'm so short that people still mistake me for being a middle schooler (6-12 school) when i'm a sophomore
and then they see me in their precalc class and wtf

Forgive me if this has already been said, but people tend to dislike the class under them. No idea why, and sometimes I'm even guilty. I remember back in seventh grade, other kids in my grade were like "dude loving sixth graders are SO ANNOYING", and then the very next year they said the same thing about seventh graders.

It's just an ongoing superiority complex naturally present in a lot of people because they've been given one reason why they're better than the lower classmen: they're older. It's not a legitimate reason to forget with innocent people but they tend to anyway because hell, forgeted if I know why people do what they do.
