Space team- Translator, maybe?

Attempt to hold him captive via quick disarm, It's impossible to translate his language, I think, but as long as you got a shield for a little then that's good. I think a safer bet is just to kill him, however...





You blow his gun to pieces, disarming him. It looks like he's contemplating whether or not to run.

The team heads deeper into the mine. In the distance, you see a light source, so you turn off the hat light and head towards it, the team behind you.



The source of the light seems to be from this room, which is lit unlike the rest of the mine. There is the iconian commander, who seems to be confronting a large robed figure. His bodyguard is mangled and dead on the ground with strange shifting red lines all over them. Finally, there is a pedestal behind the commander holding a light grey cube-shaped thing.

i've read tons of lovecraftian literature, always assume that the robed guy ISN'T on your side.

Tackle and bind the space iconian. Apply gag and rape and use a sleeper capsule on him.

space team: detain the guy goddamnit. have the other people secure the adjacent area; it might be a trap.

You detain the iconian worker, but it's pretty clear that he doesn't speak any language you know. Meanwhile, there's like, crates full of loot around you. Why did you board them again anyways?

The two appear to be talking. The man is speaking a language you recognize, but the iconian commander isn't.

He drops his cloak, revealing a detailed suit of armor beneath, and replaces his gun with an odd looking short sword.
It seems they are about to be occupied with fighting, and that artifact there is currently unattended...

I almost forgot we're space marauders

Space team: Take Iconian prisoner and loot the crates

Ground team: Grab the artifact while they fight and make a break back to the LZ

space team: throw crates out hole for ship to tractor beam them back. then advance through the ship and kill stuff

ground team: keep waiting, then when they begin to fight grab the thing. no use trying to get it while they dramatically talk stuff

also, take recordings of any subsequent conversation (and the one they just had, if possible) they have; it will be useful to have it translated later.
