Whoever wanted to kill the crew would be able to right now.

It's obvious the Toraai will not be a threat here, seeing as they get s hot of the tendril blast.

The only threat is whatever has the tendril gun.

Have Tippy ready to seal the room and trap the Illumanti guy again.

You decide not to split up, and quickly search the entire cargo bay. As you go through, you see a faint light coming from a clearing in the crates. As you approach, you order everyone to turn off their lights. Peeking through some crates, you make out two robed figures looking at what appears to be the artifact.

given what we know from the cave escapede we don't want to engage them directly.

anything we can use to trap them? or disarm them?

if we don't just follow quietly. if worst comes to worst and they get off in the shuttle you can at least attach a tracking beacon and then blast it to smithereens in space.

could you flash/smoke nade them?

Does Tippy have a grenade that sprays molten copper that melts through metal? If not have Big Red cut them down like that door.

it did no stuff to him, including the bullets from those guards.

and you really think you can kill him with traditional weaponry though i guess molten copper isn't traditional but still



unless you can somehow encase him in some unbreakable metal or box there's no way we're going to get these guys, dead or alive.
and the last thing we need are casualties

EDIT: even clouding them with gas/flash nade them is a stupid idea since they're most likely resistant to that kind of toxin/sudden flashes and can easily just catch their senses and chase us down. it does nothing to benefit our current situation.

Well humans have been using explosively formed pentrators since World War 2. Since this is the future I would assume there are bullets made of depleted Uranium.
