yeah but you're not going to carry heavy artillery into a spaceship.
Which is why you carry the weapons that do equal or greater damage while maintaining a reasonable size.

Carry conventional plasmacutters then?

And even if we can't equip with big red's exact weapon carrying a plasma sidearm or plasma ammunition (does it exist) would still help as everyone could focus fire on one illuminati guy and still do damage.

What about a plasma alternative like thermite? Just saying a cheaper shaped charge warhead could do the job. I guess it all comes down to what people are skilled with.

Craft plasma cutter with cutlass and receive PLASMA SWORD

forget updating, happy halloween, etc

so what do you want to do? are you going to regroup, or just keep running around the station?

As a keyboard Army General I suggest regroup the troops.

Keep running around the station.

If the group continues to stay on the station I would recommend getting some more firepower. Maybe go shopping for one of these for Jack?

Regroup at the entrance we came through, then head back we need to go back and get our people out of there before they bleed out or whatever

And if you happen upon the shuttle slam a tracking beacon onto it.

As a keyboard Army General I suggest regroup the troops.

Whats left of the team regroups at the entrance.

: Well, that was terrible. We lost Ulris?
: David, too. He was impaled through the shoulder. I downed the blue man with my plasma cutter, but he's probably still alive.
: Goddamnit.
: Should we all go back and rescue them?
: What if they're waiting for us when we return? We could all die.
: So? They're our crewmembers, we have to stick up for them.
: I think you're also forgetting about the artifact. What will happen if it falls into their hands?
: They're obviously too strong for us, doctor. The artifact is theirs now. Unless we can somehow stop them...
:  ...as they escape...
: Intercept their shuttle? I was thinking of that. We need to hurry back to ours, quickly.
: But what about Ulris and David!?
: We'll have to choose between them, and a chance to get the artifact back.

Meanwhile...

: Get up.
: ...What was that?
: That was you overestimating yourself and failing, again.
: The artifact?
: It's still here. The raiders all fled after we killed two of them.
: Are they dead? We should make sure...
: We're short on time. Let's get back to the shuttle and report our findings to Rigel.
: ...Very well.

So the question stands, go straight back to your shuttle to get a chance to intercept theirs, or rescue your crewmembers?

Radio your ship to intercept and capture any ships leaving the station and return to the room with your downed crew members.

Do this.

i like how we can magically overhear their conversation so we can make the obvious best decision.

go back and retrieve the guys and see if you can spot their escape shuttle; we don't know if they have any cloaking mechanisms and if we can stick something on it now, before they leave, we can guarantee being able to locate them later.

if the latter cannot be done just go with qwepir's suggestion.

Leave them to die, they smelled funny anyways
