While the first round of combat was discouraging, you manage to score several good shots and reduce them to 2/30 HP and 12/25 shields+armor, meanwhile they fail to penetrate your hull. 3 shrapnel cannons, 1 autocannon, and 1 shredder gun all jam.

Assuming the ship you were just firing at it now crippled and can't fire, redirect all but a two guns to take fire on the ship that just came in, use the remaining to finish the crippled ship. I just saw how many of our guns don't work.

If both can still shoot, well, maybe we should loving run. Im sure the hyperdrive is ready by now.

Even if it doesn't completely disable the station we did a lot of damage already.

Also, check if we can hire extra mercenaries to help out on future missions for a cut of the reward.

thats assuming we actually DO kill the other ship (notice how many of our guns jammed) and by that time the other ship could easily kill us. seems like an incredibly bad idea, best bet would be to shoot at the mine a couple of times and then leave.

There's no saying that we won't die that way either.

I say we just leave w/o risking anything as we could just come back anyways.

You easily take the last 2 hitpoints from the ship and then get out of there.
