In the mean time feel free to ask anything about the setting right now because im not updating until tomorrow.
any other factions out there we haven't encountered in person?

compared to galactic human colonization how much of charted space do the iconians take up?

are there any other central human military corps other than the solar empire and queerians? what is the relationship between the queerians and solar empire?

Repair the hull
Buy Nanofiber plating
Buy another set of reactive shields

750 bucks in total so we don't blow our money like we do every time.

What is the relationship between the Querian Empire* and Solar Empire?

The Querian Empire was once a part of the Solar Empire, when a human trillionare (you would expect to see this far in the future anyways) and philanthropist named Arnold Forrester payed the SE Government for a sector of space that had been donned as the slums of the SE for decades.  Forrester invested money in these slums and turned them into his own empire, which remains to this day a small human empire led by Forrester's son, Julius Forrester.  It continues to expand, and can hold its own against the Iconians.

TL;DR, The Querian Empire and Solar Empire are Neutral/Allies, though they prefer to stay out of each other's politics.

Name:  Sir William Gildshire

Age:  58

Backstory:
A former member of the Solar Empire research team in Theoretical Astrophysics.  Worked in the research of gravitational forces and the manipulation of them by a substance called Gravitanium, which is a gel-like material expelled from wormholes.  Gildshire was knighted for his work with Gravitanium, due to his experiment of levitating a heavy freighter and moving it throughout the air with nothing but an energy source and a Gravitanium-driven engine, which he called the Multiple-Purpose Gravitation Propulsion Reactor (MPGP Reactor).

What is Gravitanium?
Since black holes compress matter together and destroy subatomic particles in the process, the corresponding wormhole emits unusual energies and particles.  These particles, which were discovered by Gildshire 23 years ago, were dubbed as Xanions, which emit a large amount of Gravitons when electrons pass through them.  Xanions form the center of the Gravitanium "atom," which consists of one Xanion (consists of anywhere from 248-924 Quarks)  Most Xanions are extremely unstable, and as a result, only 8 isotopes of Gravitanium have lifetimes over 0.00003 seconds.  5 of these isotopes can exist for as many as 4 days, and the most stable 3 have elimination periods (the equivalent of a half-life) of at least 4 billion years.  The most stable three (Gn-158, Gn-159 and Gn-162) are used in Gravitanium rods.

Gravitanium-158
Application of Electrons:  Produces normal gravity.
Applications of X-Rays:  Produces Microwaves.
Applications of Gamma Rays:  Produces Neutrinos.

A general fuel in MPGP Reactors.  Requires control rods.

Gravitanium-159
Application of Electrons:  Produces X-Rays.
Applications of X-Rays:  Produces Electrons.
Applications of Microwaves:  Produces outwards gravity.

A general fuel in MPGP Reactors.  Requires control rods.

Gravitanium-162
Application of Electrons:  Produces strong normal gravity and electrons.
Application of Alpha Particles:  Produces Neutrons.
Application of Radio Waves:  Produces Antiparticles.
Upon compression:  Produces moderately strong outwards gravity.

A general fuel in MPGP Reactors.  Requires control rods.  Must be housed in double-thickness White Carbon cylinders.

Gravitanium is harmful to all except inert or nearly inert matter.  This means that it will not cause deterioration in the noble gasses, gold and pure carbon.  Extremely hazardous to organic matter.

Where is he now?
Currently a prisoner of the Iconians, forced to do research on Gravitanium and its properties, and to develop Gravitanium-based engines and weapons in a nearby prison that also serves as a private research facility.  He and his colleagues are the only prisoners.

Personality:
He is a quiet person, never shot a gun (unless it was to pick up objects with his gravity gun).

Also, what is this crap?

So what is the random segment on gravitanium for

brother its 2500 and people are still getting knighted?

So what is the random segment on gravitanium for
So we all understand its properties should it become used in the story as either a valuable resource or a hazard.

brother its 2500 and people are still getting knighted?
Sure, why not?

Do this gayferds
no do this gayce
get repairs, sell 2 ferronium platings and replace with 2 nanofiber plating
sell 2 shrapnel cannons and buy 2 shredder guns

top it off with another reactive shields which should leave us with $219

and swat, if you want to add stuff to this galaxy that tingalz invented you should stop pretending you're in control of this topic
So we all understand its properties should it become used in the story as either a valuable resource or a hazard.
if you want to suggest things suggest them to tingalz privately instead of pretending you have control of what happens to your characters and invention.

not trying to suppress creativity here but the way you're posting things is kinda giving me the impression you're pushing into taking over parts of the storyline, and its becoming annoying (to me at least).
if you want to do that go make your own adventure as a spinoff of this.

I understand your concern, but I would like to ask this:  Is it fair to hamper a strategic resource that previously was non-existent in the storyline?  What I mean to say is that it seems to me that you are arguing that the resource should be less limited because I am putting too many restrictions on it, though the story beforehand didn't seem affected by the substance's existence, when in fact I am putting no restrictions on the current story as is.  Furthermore as I created the character to be an intellectual who made a discovery, do I rightfully get to choose what he discovers?  I made drawbacks to the character and his discovery because I don't mean to create perfect characters; no character is supposed to be.  I mean, by all means, if Tingalz says Gravitanium is too strange for this story, then I will by all means modify it or remove it as necessary.

750 bucks in total so we don't blow our money like we do every time.

There's no point in getting more reactive shields though.

CURRENT SHIP:
HP: 15/15
Armor: 8 (1/3 Ferronium Hull Plating, 2/3 Nanofiber Plating)
Shields: 6 (3/3 Reactive Shields)
2 Shrapnel Cannons(135/135 ammo)
5 Autocannons(150/150 ammo)
2 Shredder Guns(120/120 ammo)
1 Fusion Beam
1 Photon Cannon

$3319

ok guys for real, let's switch the shrapnel cannons out for something, they suck and we have to waste money on ammo we blow in like 1 turn
