take loving cover behind/alongside the planet and reestablish comms with ground team to notify them of eldritch ship arrival. they need to be aware that they may need to be ready to be extracted quickly if the thing the eldritch are here for is on the ground with them.

heat up some popcorn and watch. preferably from a safe distance away so you can FTL travel away asap if necessary.

according to you he can mount it on his back. i assume he has it because we can't see his back in this last update, and it would be pretty dumb if he had it and didn't bring it.

i guess we didn't get confirmation that tingalz added it in. If not, then just have squishy peek around corners, harpoon gun at the ready, with bronson behind him (stacking the corner)

if you look carefully at the pictures of the ship there's red glowy electric-like stuff surrounding the thing

that plus its complete lack of lights/windows and the lack of reflective surfaces on the main body really point towards eldritch-made stuff (remember the guys we encountered in the cargo bay were dark-armored and turned out the lights)

i think it is time we poop on the floor in abject terror because if I recall correctly they always nuked our ground forces; they probably can do the same stuff in space.

Go on cautiously.

You cautiously walk past an arrow trap, which sprays lots of weak arrows at you. They all either miss or hit armor, effectively doing nothing. Other traps might not be as harmless.

The ship finally makes contact with the ground forces.

A massive iconian fleet just warped in, and we just had a close encounter with some strange slab of a ship I've never seen before. : Are you at a safe distance? [COMM]: Yes we are. It's a good thing too, one of those iconian cruisers is over 7 km long. The weird thing that we saw looks to be moving in to engage them. : This is all because of that artifact, I know it. Tom must have it. We need to get to him before they do. Can you give us an overview of this damn temple? We have no idea where to go here. [COMM]: Got it. I'll scan your position. ... [COMM]: Alright, at the center of the temple there is a chamber where the artifact and Tom no doubt are. There's two paths to get there. One of them has more traps but less guards, and the other has more guards less traps. Pick one.
