I agree it's kind of hard to see the hard numbers when it's missing most of 2011.

The main thing I think one needs to notice is Notch takes a lot of stupid vacations. If one wants making a game to be your source of income he should be really dedicated to it. Take Badspot for example I'm sure he takes a lot of vacation time but he still gets a substantial update out every year and he also spends a lot of his own time managing the forums.

Oh come on the whole game is a joke. It has the crappiest graphical concept ever and a building system so basic it feels like no thought was put into the design at all.

Its success is luck and social media pushing. You'll soon realize how hammy the developers are as they create stupid features that show no innovation as time goes on.

I don't get why people enjoy it. The survival thing is fun for 2 seconds and its overpriced.

I agree 100%. I picked up Minecraft back in alpha and it was entertaining for about a week. It's honestly one of the biggest pieces of junk to date, waaay too over-rated.
