Games like EVE online?

I'd like to be able to play EVE online, but my computer can only run it on the lowest settings, and I can't pay the 15$ a month subscription fee. Is there any games like it (MMO) that are free, or one time payment?

I've looked at every space MMORPG thingie whatever that I could find and I'll put it simply, they're all stuff and not worth the time it takes to install them.
You guys would be surprised how easy it is to make a game more monotonous than EVE
