Author Topic: A player-sized mech with a dashing feature.  (Read 2233 times)

I'm pretty sure jets that propel forward exist. What would be a good idea is having a mech that's the size of a player with forward jets with fuel to simulate a sort of dashing thing. Jets are cool and so are mechs.

And if possible, holding weapons in the same way regular players do instead of on their head or something silly like most playertypes.

It fits all of your criterias except for the dashing idea.
player sized

he's basically talking mega man x with full armor.

I'm skeptical about how well a mech suit could fit the bulky blockead player, but if it can be pulled off it'd be neat.

Yes.

Possibly just taking the blockhead model and adding some armor onto it. Helmet n such.

Yes, I saw where he was going, but I thought the mechs from the same game for some reason.

Somehow that reminds me of the Fox Football robot...

OT: Yes...someone make this...

make the jets come from some jetpack :D

So basically, you want the jump-jet playertype...with armor.

No. Jump jets = upward.

Dashing = forward.

No. Jump jets = upward.

Dashing = forward.

Pressing W while jetting causes for a dashing effect.  Hurpa.

So like a power suit?

I'd love that.

Not really no. That still adds upward propulsion.

I was talking about strictly forward.

MAXIMUM SPEED
MAXIMUM ARMOR

also yeah this would be cool if someone could make it look good

Well yes, if you stop holding W, then you jet up.  But if that mech can sprint like a mofo, why can't it jump like a mofo?
