I think there should be a brick where you can run .gifs on them
It would be cool to set up a movie theatre and use the animated bricks :D

Very similar to the "scrolling text printer brick" idea someone had. Everyone would have to download the entire gif before seeing it... and you'd need a massive Movie Brick (Giant prints) for it to work.

i was gonna suggest this along with a welder to weld bricks together for movie bricks lets see how this turns out

If this works out it will be Poan  :cookieMonster:

I had a similar idea, with morphing my autodeco to change brick colors rather than deco them, so you could make a set of colors to change to, speed inbetween each change, and then run it. Im lazy, of course, but anyone whos not should try that.

You mean like a real screen? Choosing between red, yellow and blue pixels?

Sounds cool.

No, so you could make a screen of 1by1s, and use the tool to record a series of colors to each brick
red>blue>green>blue>black ectect to make a movie.

Would definitely been sweet. I would only use it if it was savable. Otherwise you could be just wasting your time.

We would need some kind of converter to turn avi's into pixel-brick color codes. Much like the BMP script.

They got 1 of those in roblox though it sux you can still get some ideas from it.

Zor just pointed me to this topic and you guys should know, my scripting projects have led me in this direction over the last few days. If there's such a demand for it I can whip up a non-scripter-friendly version in short order.  :cookieMonster:

If you are a true pwner, you can make an animation with a stack of 1x1's and a RGB light, just like what Rkynick said. That's what I do.
