Author Topic: If I sent some cooked human meat to a hunger charity, would they notice?  (Read 2037 times)

You say "many people" like many people have tasted human flesh.
Pretty much everyone that has tasted human flesh and talked about it likens it to fish. I wasn't trying to imply that you can walk to the grocer and buy a slab of human meat.

Not where you live, maybe.

Wait.. Where are you getting this Human meat?

Also, yes. It would smell like hell, and is distinct in general. The return shipping address would be turned over to the FBI, who would proceed to kick your door in. After this, you would be locked into an Insane Asylum while you were evaluated. You would also be charged with a ton of other nasty stuff. Including either murder, and or mutilating a corpse. Just my knowledge of Law.

TLDR:
Yes.

so all that's going to happen
just because some meat smells horrible?

if you don't tell them its human meat, they won't notice

See my above post.

1. They actually check the food sent to them pretty well. Otherwise, some idiot could slip arsenic into their chicken "for the lols". It wouldn't be hard to tell that it was human meat.

2. You had to get it from somewhere, which would get the Police knocking.

3. It would smell absolutely horrendous, which would really get their inspectors flags raised.

Edit: And FedEx or UPS would open the package as a result of it smelling as horrendous as it would. So you're busted from the start.

Why would human meat have a much worser and stronger aroma, then, for example, beef?

It would be extremely salty, first off. This in itself would produce a strong odor. Ever get a cut and lick it? On top of that, the only way to get human meat would be to kill someone, or use old and diseased meat. On top of that, our muscles are visibly distinct from Pigs or Beef. It really wouldn't be hard to figure it out, even if it were cured enough to not smell. These places DO inspect what comes to them. And they don't do it lightly.

isn't there a name for thinking and contemplating ridiculous things like this

or like just driving head on into the wrong lane

screaming at the cashier on a store and walking out

asking to see the manager of a store and asking them of you can have free stuff

like I think there's a name for it

You asked a question, you got a legitimate answer. I know. I'm such a buzz kill, huh?
