Author Topic: Who will be buying New Super Mario Bros. U?  (Read 1245 times)

Then get a classic controller for it? If they do make them for it? I don't think those have motion controls? I've already played all my old games. So i'm bored of them. :c

bloatware is something that's important for consoles. i don't want something used primarily by soccer moms and health freaks to be slowing down my zombie killing action

Uhh? Just use a classic controller if they do makes those for it? On the wii you just plug it in then plug it back out when your done no ware installed?

the software is still installed when i buy it, silly. i'd rather buy an actual console or a PC for gaming than something that includes stuffty motion controls no one actually likes.

Oh I thought the soft ware for the non 3rd party controllers were built in the system menu?
Just for that though?

are you even understanding what i'm saying? i'm saying motion control is a useless expense and process that they could use to improve controllers.

and yes, i'm not buying a console from a company that thinks motion control is a good thing to include with the console.

Its for the Wii U. Apparently I need a new Wii for it though. But it will be worth it!
I wish I still had my Gamecube. :c
If you have a wii you have a gamecube

they created this motionless controller for the new system

not sure if it is the primary controller or will work alongside wiimotes (two "primary" controls perhaps?), probably depends on the game. (i hope to god the gamepad is primary though)
along with that, they're also making this which I assume will replace the classic controller

if anything, i'd expect third-party multiplatform games to use it

more information about the Wii U is coming out in two days. price and release date too, i believe.

I also heard you could use the wiimotes on the Wii U? Could that be a second motion controller or not?

The Wii U will still be wiimote capable, it also will have backward compatibility with Wii games (not GameCube games). Whether or not Wiimotes will be a primary form of control with this new system I don't know.

The gamepad itself is not a motion-controller. It has gyroscope capabilities, similar to the 3DS, but that's about it.

I think it is a motion-controller. I saw it from some video I think. I could be wrong though.

It isn't in the way the Wiimotes are, in the sense that you couldn't play WiiSports games like Tennis with it.
