Runesaga (didn't really come up with a better name) is an RPG-game im working on. It has a lot of elements from the old final fantasies. It's about 20-25 % done, but there is a lot of stuff in it already.

STORYLINE
Runesaga follows the young boy Jayce, who has been secretly chosen to lead the armies of Terra (their homeworld) against the demons, who are threatening to destroy everything. On his journey around Terra, he meets some interesting characters like Payne, a black mage, who never smiles. Also he meets Dashiell, an archangel, who has sworn to protect Jayce.

Age: 17
Class: Black Mage
Skills: Expert in combat magic. Dual weapon style.

Dislikes: Everything else

Leon
Age: 34
Class: Air Pirate
Skills: Firearms expert. Airship pilot.
Likes: The sky
Dislikes: The evil redclaw empire

Dashiell
Age: Unknown
Class: Angel/spirit
Skills: Expert in healing magic.
Likes: Unknown
Dislikes: Demons

A: Not much, because i might accidentaly spoil everything.

A: Very big. There are lots of hidden places too.

CHARACTER BACKSTORY

Jayce
Born into a poor family, Jayce was recruited to the Terra swordsmen academy. Graduated with good grades and returned to hi's hometown of Bincal. Later recruited into Ryvasa's (the nation) army.

Payne
Trained to become a redclaw warlock, he went rogue and hid in the Bincal village, where he met Jayce and fell in love with Sarah. One winter he dissapeared without a trace.

Leon
The son of Emperor Torax Redclaw.  Withnessed how soldiers killed innocents during a war and formed the rebellion alliance against redclaw. A skilled airshhip captain.

Dayton: A member of Leon's rebellion. Skilled with both sword and magic. A former redclaw officer.

Ylva
The mechanic of Leon's airship. She's only 15, but has proven herself to be a tough fighter. Lost family and friends during war.

Ivar
A paladin from the north. He has chosen to live on his own in the mountains, trying to forget the war.

Blade
The assassin queen of Clanas. Trying to stop the raging civil war in her kingdom. She seems to be attracted to Jayce.

Dashiell
A mysterious spirit, who has sworn to protect Jayce at all costs. Not much is known about him.

There are a few more characters in the game, but these are the most important ones.

I think there is a script to make it sorta 3-D, but it looked ugly...

Yeah, i remember a really good game, that was made with an older RPG-Maker. I think it was called Laxius power or something like that

he's pretty much just making the game for fun, it doesn't have to be made with some top notch coding skills. get out, seriously.

yeah, that's the thing that's been bugging me, i'm pretty sure they're not.

Party members: yes
Monster sprites: I use a mix of FFVI and V sprites. Nothing wrong about it and wouldn't be the first to do it.

Hmmm...yeah i was kinda looking for some sort of monster roars and stuff.
