because this is pretty big. It will decide if blockland gets the attention it deserves or not.

This also means that we have a rather active community, more than I thought

There are more unique visitors on the greenlight page than there are views on this post.  Many of the views and votes are from the steam community.

Well that's excellent then

Oh wow that is great.

This gives me hope

It could be at least 6 to 10 months before this game gets on steam though.

Could you put the Greenlight news on the front page badspot? Maybe for new visitors?

1 day: %1
100 days: between 3-4 months
(assuming votes would be constant, which they won't)

Also, the people who really like how it looks might spread word to friends, or the opposite, in which most of the people who want it have already seen it and it takes longer for more people to see it because nobody spreads the word (oh, queues).

So it could rise exponentially or rise at a similar speed as it is now but slowly deteriorate.
I'm rooting for the exponential growth
(no pun intended, until i typed it and realized it)

How many votes does a game need to get selected?
It's going to change during the first few days/weeks since we don't know what kind of traffic to expect. Part of the drive for this system is the need for customers to help us prioritize which games they want to see made available on Steam. So the specific number of votes doesn't matter as much as relative interest in a game compared with other games in Steam Greenlight.

We're going to be reaching out to developers as we see their games getting traction regardless of whether they have achieved a specific number of votes or are sitting 1st or 2nd place at any given time. We are most interested in finding the games that people want, not requiring them to always hit a specific number of votes.

I just noticed that Blockland is missing an updated system requirements for shaders. Although I know Badspot is working on this already, Steam says that is part of the requirements.

only compatibility problem with an add-on would be rtb, with the overly key unchanged

rtb should change the default overlay key so new peoples wont get confused

what IS the compatibility issue with rtb?
I used to have a comp where no add-ons would show up in-game; only other's servers
I'm guessing there was a software issue because at some point the OS corrupted and I had to format the HDD and then they worked fine.

...and so the ability for me to write and test addons was created

I never figured the issue out though
