Whats the whole point? :/

You can't blame them for using the same system everyone else did. They were just as legitimate as we were.
They fit the criteria well enough, and Steam had no problem with them being on Greenlight too.

If Blockland had as many fans as the Yogscast did then we'd just get votes to flood in too.

A big dog got through this time, but that's one less to worry about next time.
The smaller, more meaningful games and communities, like ours get a better chance this time around.

I wouldn't mind blockscape so much if it wasn't so soulless :(

Well I'm never running BL through steam now.
Unless steam adds a feature to disable the overlay for specific games, then this.

Clearly so. Its always an option, its just one thats never going to be chosen.

The benefits of Torque3D are, at the least, ambiguous from what the current BL Torque engine can do.

Your the only one of the 3 other people who keep begging for Blockland to be ported to Torque 3D, yet your too stubborn to understand Blockland is practically its own engine now.

Blockland is practically its own engine now.

Oh my god.
Someone actually gets this too!

Well its the Truth, Blockland may have been created by torque but its now very heavily modified up to the point where it can be considered its own engine.

Strictly speaking, it's the same engine and still can't be considered its own engine, but the meaning behind your words is 100% accurate

I used to think that also, once shaders was announced I realized I was wrong. The engine for Blockland is really fine now, I would like just to see hyperthreading support if its not already supported.

You guys clearly didnt read what I said, so Im just gonna ignore your responses to me.

This, actually. I also said MAY in my statement about Torque3D, I personally think Blockland is fine. Both of you assumed I wanted the engine change, which is preposterous.

You people need to read more carefully.

hey improper use of big words, little man.

I don't see why you guys bash this game. Sure, it's similar to Minecraft, but it does a lot of things better than Minecraft.
Yes, it gets the job done better but we don't need a new another building game. we already have our two choices between bigger projects or more details.

Some weird game the yogscast people are developing. Sounds like one of those games you will have to wait to download longer than you will actually enjoy it. That's pretty much like making a game out of Justin Bieber. Oh please no.

It isn't even being developed by anyone involved in Yogscast. It is being developed by these guys with their own art style. They even tested the game and implied they found the art style unfitting. That first video where it presented the name... by mining the wall... which was just removing spammed, overlapping rock models... Stomach turning...

Just because people are popular on youtube and can complain about patches in World of Warcraft doesn't mean they know jack-stuff about game design and how to create a good game idea.

I'm not making that up either. They have actually said that they think they are capable of creating and selling their own game because they complain about patches to World of Warcraft.
