Note: If you want Blockland to stay as a "small community" you should kill yourself, thereby making the community smaller and better.

I've rummaged through all of Greenlight's entries and have voted down far more than 90% of the titles presented. Lots of MS paint crap, casual games, tower defense clones, RPG maker stuff.

The button said for a very long time, if it were offered on Steam, would you buy it? No. I would not spend on these games. Now it says Am I Interested? No, I would never, ever play these games let alone pay for them. There are too many quality titles competing for my attention. There are free games on NewGrounds which are better or on the same level as these.

I've voted down all the Portal ripoffs which give you a special gun, physics puzzles, and samey looking environments (there are many of these on Greenlight). Any free to play MMO (everyone thinks they can make one of these today, they're prolific, and they're all built to instill loyalty or a sense that you've chosen your primary MMO due to the time investment required, and I can't play them all, let alone a stuffty one which is guaranteed to rip off the big names in MMOs today [and cover it in a heavy dose of "too anime," which adds more negative points to it since that has also become boring to me]).

Of the things that got my upvote, genuine quality or innovation were involved. Project Zomboid, Blockade Runner, Blockland (oldy but goody), Surgeon Simulator, Rogue's Tale, Drox Operative, War for the Overworld, City Car Driving, The Stanley Parable, Black Mesa, etc., many of these I have already patronized and bought into.

If you've seen it on Greenlight, I've probably voted it down, mainly because these games can be counted upon to be short and unfulfilling nickel and dime adventures. Giana Sisters? Great idea! That's some quality gaming right there mate. Right now Greenlight is a gold rush of people trying to get rich quick, and they will post _anything_ on there to achieve this end.

That's a little scary, what if they take down Greenlight before Blockland gets approved?
Then another way must be found to get Blockland unto Steam.

It's a funny thing how most people don't read and don't click links.
