I don't even have to read dooble's post to agree with him

this

I remember the decal virus. Large mod packs like RTB and TBM wouldn't let you run a server if it found the file, until you deleted it. It wasn't just that screenshot, either. I remember someone did a Dead or Alive one, right?
So Blockland has had 2 big "plagues" in its history by my count.

1) This decal madness

2) Amiga sound pack

What was that?

What was that?
Basically before all the name and folder restrictions on add-ons that we have today (such as add-ons not loading if they're not in the root Add-ons folder) someone had copied their default music to a folder named Amiga Soundpack (which came from a music pack that itself was innocent). These copied music files loaded instead of the ones in the default location, and anyone who joined a server with them had to download them.

There were a ton of cases of downloading add-ons you already had (It wasn't uncommon to download "Add-ons/Add-ons/Add-ons/some_weapon_files") but amiga soundpack was the most infamous because of the way it spread.

Badspot should make an adventure gamemode with the new bots because it would at least give people a reason to commentate the game.

Badspot should make an entirely new game so people will AT LEAST think about clicking on the link.

But we've done well so far. I really hope we can get through on the next Greenlight. A lovely Easter treat.

I really hope there's a 75% off sale if we do get through.

it's already 0% off, and you expect more?
